ESA would like to invite everyone to our "OPEN HOUSE" on Saturday, August 7th from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm. We are going to have a special visit from Mickey and Minnie Mouse and maybe a monster truck for the boys and big boys (dad's)!! All of our teachers will be there for you to visit with and be available to answer any questions that you may have.

Our curriculum will be set in each classroom for you to see and look through.

We are waving the enrollment fee for all new families until October 31st. If you enroll at the open house, your name will be put in a drawing for a free week of tuition once you have been enrolled for four consecutive weeks with our school.

Come one, come all and join in the fun!

Vandalism

Looking at the Lavon, Tx Facebook page, there was some spray paint vandalism in Bently Farms and in Lakeridge Meadows in early July. They have painted the Bently Farms crime watch sign, as well as graffiti on fences and houses in Lavon. Let's keep the neighborhood safe and keep an eye out for any suspicious activity.

I tried hard along with other neighbors to get a volunteer to spearhead the NNO event this year . Due to events in my life right now I am not able to chair the event. It is allot of work but worth the efforts to see all the neighbors unite and enjoy the evening together.

Last years planning began six months in advance and brought out more neighbors than ever before. I am willing to provide the list of vendors who donated items for NNO last year to anyone willing to take charge.

National Night Out is rapidly approaching! It will be on Tuesday August 3. Has anyone started planning this? I think if we get an early start, we can have the best block party yet!

Yard Sale

A couple of us will be having a yard sale this weekend! If you want to also have one, go ahead. We will put some signs out. You may have to make another sign to point to your home, but that is easy enough!

Bently Farms Community Yard Sale is set for the Labor Day weekend! This will give you all ample time to go through closets, attics, barns, etc and figure out what you need to get out!

July 3, 2010 - Annual Farmers Branch Independence Day Celebration (Farmers Branch, TX)

"The Farmers Branch Independence Day Celebration will be held on Saturday, July 3, 2009. at the Farmers Branch Historical Park at 2540 Farmers Branch Lane Gates Open at 7:30 p.m. Free Admission; Low-level Fireworks at Approximately 9:...35 p.m. Admission is free.

Sparks will fly at the City of Richardson’s annual “Family Fourth Celebration” on Sunday, July 4, in Breckinridge Park. This traditional, patriotic salute is free and open to the entire community. Attendees are encouraged to bring picnics, blankets and/or lawn chairs and enjoy the evening under the stars! Event hours are 6:00 p.m. to 10:15 p.m.

It sure is HOT outside here lately! Make sure your animals have cold water and you also get enough water in your body!

For any of you that are interested: Monday at 7pm and Thursday at 7 pm, then Saturday 8am, you can go to Farmersville for boot camp for $25 a month. Here you go ladies! I haven't gone get, but here it's a great time! It's at the school track!
