National Night Out
Planning for this starting out already. We need everyone's help in making this a night our neighborhood won't forget. Please email us with any ideas or helpful tips that you think would be of great interest. I am still looking for donations to help pay for a bounce house for the little ones in our neighborhood.
Recycling
Well I was surprised to drive down to NeSmith elementary the other day to drop off two bags of papers for the recycling bins. They are no longer there! So for now, I guess just put your paper in the recycling bin.
FundRaising
If you could start clipping box tops from qualifying boxes, campbell soup labels, and even pop cans you would be doing a bunch of kids a lot of help this upcoming school year. Please collect them and then email when you need them picked up!
Birthday Announcements
I think we have missed a few kiddo birthdays this month. Moms and Dads you didn't let us know or we would have posted it on here! I may have to start offering a small gift for those who post their kids birthdays on here.
I am also posting anniversaries and other interesting info.

Drivers and Motorcycles
Please remember it's summer and you need to slow down while driving in the neighborhood. I've once again noticed a couple flying past homes. We don't want anyone hurt!

Wow the holiday is done!
Well, I hope you all had a great holiday weekend. It was hot, but I don't think that stopped many people. Stores were packed and the air outside was filled with the smell of barbeques.
It is the middle of summer for the kiddos, so what's next on the list?

It's a Holiday Weekend!
I wish everyone a safe and happy Fourth of July weekend! Make sure to play hard, but stay smart. Firework shows have already begun so here is the holiday! I know it's extra special to me because it's my mom's birthday! Happy Birthday to my mom although she'll never see this on here!

Hello All Our Neighbors!
When I started this blog, I thought it was such a great idea in giving our neighborhood some ideas, as well as deals, and a way to spread the word on occasions. I realize there are some that just don't use the internet; however, I do believe most do. I will continue to keep it updated in hopes that some of you will comment, use the freebies, and use it for announcing things!

Just a reminder that I (Cheri Lail) here in our neighborhood has a commercial embroidery machine and can do anything that you may need embroidered. I'll throw this out here again. Does anyone have any suggestions? I had originally rented a bounce house for the evening. After multiple attempts at asking for all of your help, I have had no response. Unless some of you want to step forward to help, I will have to cancel that bounce house! Remember this could be an awesome event with enough help!

Remember to recycle on Fridays! It helps keep our earth green. And best of all, it only takes a minute to throw recyclable items in the bin instead of the garbage. All paper and magazines need to go to the bins at NeSmith elementary to help them raise money for school supplies! Every little bit here and there helps!
Yard Maintenance
There are a few in the neighborhood willing to do your yard mowing and weed wacking for a very reasonable price. Contact Bently Farms if interested.

I'm Back! Sorry about the delay in updating our site! It would be spectular if some of you would comment on here so that I know that people are looking at this!
Father's Day is Sunday! Don't forget your dad's; get them something wonderful!
It is very hot outside, not that you don't know that yet, but remember your animals that may be outside. They need cold water. And, whatever you do, don't leave your babies in the car for anytime at all!
