Neighborhood Yard Sale

Remember our neighborhood yard sale is April 1st, 2nd, and 3rd. I will be putting flyers out on doors today. Someone asked about having permits, no permit is needed for individual or neighborhood yard sales.

Fire and Police Dept Open House

Come on out this Saturday, March 19, and meet your first responders! Take a tour of the Depts and get up close and personal with the Firetrucks and Police cars. There will be hotdogs and baked goods along with free blood pressure screenings. Hope to see you there!

Day Care?

Does anyone in the neighborhood watch kids or will be watching kids during the summer? I am looking for 7a-6/630pm. Education Station is raising their rates and Im looking for other options. Thanks!

City Council Meeting

I encourage everyone to attend the City Council Meeting on March 15th. There is a potential land deal that concerns the city and everyone should be informed of the terms of the deal. The Mayor confirmed at the last council meeting there would be an opportunity to discuss the land deal at the following council meeting which is March 15, 2011. I have done some research and their are several concerns. Conflict of Interest and a Tax Shelter for the Land Developer among the top. I am looking forward to understanding more about this deal and what options are available to the City including terminating the deal! Please come and take an interest in what's going on in our wonderful City!

The list for mowing the entrance is off to the right of this site. Thank you to everyone who has signed up to help. Remember that you can also help by paying towards the watering of the entrance when you go pay your water bill.
