House Fire

A lavon resident's home in Lake Ridge Meadows burnt down this morning. The family, a Wylie Police Officer, lost everything. The Red Cross is helping for tonight but the family needs all of the basics. If you can help the Lavon Citizens Police Alumni is asking for cash donations to help the family. Town Hall Meeting June 11, 6 -8pm @ Cowboy Church on Hwy 6

I wanted to make an inform decision for myself befor Saturday's Town Hall Meeting, so I walked in to the PD and asked for their case log. Out of 1289 calls, only 255 were county calls which equates to 19% of their calls. Of those county calls, 172 are within 3 miles (68%). Of those, several are accidents down in the valley of Hwy 78 and off of Hwy 205. So out of 3230 patrol hours, only 6% (193.2 hours), were outside of the city limits.

Check it out-they came and serviced our house last Wednesday for free.

They did:

* window weather stripping

* door weather stripping

* checked our duct seals

* caulked all of our plumbing

* performed energy efficient tests to tell us where we are losing air

Look Out

Just a heads up to warn you all to watch out for what you have outside. There was some things taken from outside from a friend's house last night. Some one is out little to see what you have left outside that can be taken, so make sure to put it away and lock your cars just in case!

Lost My Kitten

My 4 month old kitten got out the door this morning and we have not seen her since. If you see her please contact me at 214 986 1399. She is light brown with white feet and blue eyes. Her name is Ella. She has a brown spot on her back right leg. $50.00 Reward.

Repaired small crack in lower unit other wise no major issues with motor. Deck/bottom carpet needs repair; not casting deck. Hull is fine, no cracks, major scratches etc. Full professional tune up completed 2 years ago.
