“A community isn’t built or befriended,
it’s connected by offering and accepting.
Community is affinity, identity, and kinship
that make room for ideas, thoughts, and solutions.
Wherever a community gathers, we aspire and inspire each other intentionally . . . And our words shine with authenticity.”

Does anyone know of a good place (and not to expensive) to throw an engagement party? Mindi S
Congrats! I have some thoughts you might check out. How about one of the churchs in Lavon, they may rent out their fellowship hall. How about Grand Heritage rooms, maybe they will rent out one of their rooms to non residents. A restaurant may let you setup some tables and make a special menu for your guests to choose from. Napoli's in Wylie used to do this (not sure if they do it now).
If I think of anything else I'll let you know. When our son got married, we rented a room in a golf club clubhouse and only paid for menu items and tips.
