Bike Safety
Spring is here and along with it comes all the fun outside activities. One of the ideas brought up through the safety committee was to have a bike safety class for the kiddos along with the young at heart. The Lavon PD believes that this is a great idea and has agreed to help. I am looking for input on what would be taught and possible dates of when we should hold the class. Ohhh yeah, I am also looking for volunteers to help me get this together. Please add any ideas you may have to the comment section and thank you.

Interested in volunteering? You may call me, Jeaneen Eli, at home 972-843-2795.
Not a bad idea at all; though most kids think they know it all and don't need to learn bike safety!
I would guess anytime after school getting out. Weekends now are going to be filled with baseball games.
In order to get enough kids interested in this, it may not be a bad idea to see if First Bank of Lavon would be interested in donating a savings bond to one lucky kiddo that attends this bike safety course.
That's my input :) Who next?
