Not sure what the need is for business cards for our community. Are we advertising or selling something? Is this primarily to get more viewers to the blog? If this is the intent, it sounds like a good way to attract more viewers; however, it doesn't sound like a safe practice for our community.
Thoughts or Suggestions?

It's just a way for our neighbors to remember who does what here in the neighborhood! Has nothing to do with being safe! Just getting our name out so that if any one needs something done we may know of a neighbor who does it! My embroidery, maybe Mindy with her bows, Becky with her stuff she has been sewing, the guy who who does photos (sorry can't remember his name), that sort of thing!

I agree with this comment. Why do we need business cards for our neighborhood?
I was going to have cards made up for our Bently Farms blog, just to remind people of our website and email address.
Since I was going to hand those out I figured if anyone within the neighborhood wanted to advertise their business they could drop me some cards and I could hand those out at the same time.
Didn't realize my idea would cause such questions!
Cheri,
I completely appreciate your idea in trying to help local business owners here in our neighborhood. You and I already have our businesses listed on the blog. I don't want to inundate our fellow neighbors with business cards. You could ask Malcom and Becky if they would like to add a digital image representing their businesses to the blog.
I realize that you probably had not thought of having business cards as a safety issue. I believe that it may attract some unwanted solicitation to our community.
You are doing a great job at maintaining and keeping up with the community blog and I know many of our neighbors appreciate this as a valuable resource to all of us.
Mindy
