Let's Hear it for Charles Teske!

Hey all,

Just a reminder that the fund at Lavon Water Supply that takes care of paying for the watering at our entry-way is getting low. If you could pay an extra $20 or $25 toward this effort, it would be much appreciated. I believe the account Charles Teske set up is titled Bently Farms Entry - check with the water department. Please try to make a contribution within the next several weeks - actually, mark your calendar for once every 6 months and we should be in great shape and lookin' good, too!

Charles, our neighbor in the cul-d-sac area, has graciously taken care of this area for us as well as handling some mowing at 135 Bently in order to help keep our neighborhood having 'curb appeal' and helping to protect our property values.

Charles is running for City Council, place 5. Paul Slay is not running for his seat again and Charles is one of two candidates signed up for that spot. My endorsement goes to Charles. I know you know him! If you don't, it only takes 5 minutes to see what an unselfish and committed man he is to his family and our community. I ask you to please spend the 5 minutes it takes to vote and give him our support! It makes a HUGE difference - you can do that!

Early voting begins the week of 4/26 - Monday through Thursday, 7 to 6. On May 3rd and 4th, early voting is from 7 to 7. All at City Hall. Election Day is Saturday, May 8th from 7 to 7 in the council chambers at City Hall.

I am so proud of all of you for your involvement in the community that is Lavon. No matter if your opinions and ideas all agree or not, you speak your mind. You are exercising your rights as a US Citizen.

As a last note, we sold the house at 1096 Meadow Hill. Closing date is 4/16 - be sure to go meet your new neighbors!
